Sparkle (1976) : Sparkle: Three sisters (Sister and the Sisters) from Harlem who become singers. Sister (Lonette McKee) becomes involved with drugs and Sparkle(Irene Cara) ends up being the one who gets famous. This movie tells about how drugs ruined Sister's relationships and eventually ended her life. It is also about the relationship between Sparkle and Philip Michael Thomas.
